Upper Intermediate Evening City Skate

โš  LIGHTS REQUIRED โš

โ›‘ And for your own safety:

Skaters MUST be comfortable with skating in the dim and dark ๐ŸŒ™.

You may encounter branches/rubble and unlit path/road users ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿšด๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ.

Protective gear is encouraged!

Indication rules:

๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿพ Pointing up to signal getting into a single-file when we make way for incoming or overtaking road users.

๐Ÿ“ฃShout โ€œBIKEโ€ for incoming cyclists, โ€œBIKE BACKโ€ for trailing cyclists about to overtake.

(Adjust wording for other moving entities like: CAR, DOG, UFO)

๐Ÿค—Finally: look after each other!

๐Ÿ“š With that out of the way, this is the usual Library - Sports Centre - Eddington route for intermediate skaters. However, this is a bit more challenging due to lack of daylight.

๐Ÿ’ก Lights: Fancy wheels, torches, candles, oil lamps, bioluminescent algae ๐Ÿช”.

Anything that makes YOU visible and makes you see what's in front of you ๐Ÿ‘€

โ›…Weather permitting, Faried will lead a casual slow-paced city skate route with straight and not crowded paths.

There are a few road crossings and one short slope you can easily roll out into. ๐Ÿ›‘ Still, practice your stops!
